What is Rich Results Test?
The Rich Results Test checks whether supported structured data on a page can qualify for Google rich-result features. It accepts a URL or code. This makes it useful both for reviewing a published page and for checking markup before a release.

You can use the public entry point without an account for basic browsing or the available public tool. Sign in when you need account-based features or when the selected action asks for it.

- Test a public URL or paste the relevant HTML.
- Review detected items and expand any errors or warnings.
- Correct the underlying page or template, then rerun the test on the updated version.
A practical way to use Rich Results Test
Keep one valid example for each page template. If many pages share the same markup, fix the generator rather than editing isolated outputs. Check that structured data accurately describes content people can see on the page.
Troubleshooting
Markup passes, but the search result has no enhancement.
Passing the test establishes neither indexing nor a guaranteed rich-result display. Check Search Console and the feature’s eligibility guidelines alongside the page itself.
Common questions
Does this validate every Schema.org type?
The tool focuses on structured data used for supported Google rich results. A broader vocabulary can contain valid markup outside that scope.
Do I have to sign in first?
Public access and account features are different. Start with the Open button; if your chosen action needs an account, the destination will prompt you there.
Do I need an account with The Login Link?
No. This directory does not require registration. The Open button takes you to the service; any account credentials are entered there.
