What is Google Slides?
Slides is a browser-based presentation editor with shared editing, comments, themes, and speaker notes. It stores presentations through Drive. Opening the editor gives you the working deck; presenting, exporting, and sharing each serve different purposes.
Open the right destination
Use the account associated with the work you want to open. If Google selects another account automatically, switch using its profile menu. Complete the destination’s identity checks and any required account setup.

- Choose a deck or start a presentation with a clear title.
- Set a consistent theme and organize the narrative before polishing individual slides.
- Review the deck in presentation mode and check the sharing role before sending it.
A practical way to use Google Slides
Build each slide around one point the audience should understand. Keep supporting detail in speaker notes or an appendix when it would overwhelm the slide. Test embedded media and links in the environment where you will present.
Troubleshooting
A colleague can open the deck but cannot change slides.
Inspect the sharing role and the account they are using. If they only need to review, commenting access may be sufficient; editing access should match the collaboration task.
Common questions
Will an exported presentation behave exactly like the web version?
Exports can differ in fonts, layout, media, and interactive behavior. Review the exported file itself if that is what the audience will receive.
Why does the direct link still ask me to sign in?
The shortcut reaches the application entry point. It cannot carry your Google session between browsers, grant permissions, or bypass verification. Follow the sign-in instructions on the destination service.
Do I need an account with The Login Link?
No. This directory does not require registration. The Open button takes you to the service; any account credentials are entered there.
