What is Google Sheets?
Sheets is a spreadsheet editor for calculations, lists, and collaborative data work. It is useful when information belongs in a consistent table that people need to filter, summarize, or maintain together. Access to a spreadsheet and permission to edit particular cells can be controlled separately.
Open the right destination
Use the account associated with the work you want to open. If Google selects another account automatically, switch using its profile menu. Complete the destination’s identity checks and any required account setup.

- Open the correct spreadsheet and identify its source-data tab.
- Check column headings and data types before adding rows or formulas.
- Use a filter view when exploring a shared table without disrupting someone else’s view.
A practical way to use Google Sheets
Keep raw inputs separate from calculated outputs and summaries. Give columns explicit names, including units where relevant. Before sorting, select the complete table so values remain aligned with the right records.
Troubleshooting
You can edit the file but a particular cell is blocked.
The sheet or range may be protected. Ask its owner about the intended input area instead of replacing a protected formula elsewhere. Also check whether you are viewing a filtered subset of rows.
Common questions
Is a filter the same as deleting rows?
No. Filtering changes which rows are displayed. The underlying records remain in the spreadsheet. Clear or adjust the filter before concluding that records have disappeared.
Why does the direct link still ask me to sign in?
The shortcut reaches the application entry point. It cannot carry your Google session between browsers, grant permissions, or bypass verification. Follow the sign-in instructions on the destination service.
Do I need an account with The Login Link?
No. This directory does not require registration. The Open button takes you to the service; any account credentials are entered there.
