What is Google Sites?
Sites is a website builder for pages that can be edited collaboratively and published to an audience. It is often used for team information and straightforward project sites. The editing workspace and the published website are separate views with separate sharing decisions.
Open the right destination
Use the account associated with the work you want to open. If Google selects another account automatically, switch using its profile menu. Complete the destination’s identity checks and any required account setup.

- Organize pages and preview the layout for different screen sizes.
- Review the published audience and publish the version you want visitors to see.
A practical way to use Google Sites
Give each page one clear purpose and keep navigation predictable. Before sharing the site, open its published link using the audience’s expected access context and check embedded files as well as the page itself.
Troubleshooting
Your edits do not appear on the public-facing site.
Check whether the changes have been published and whether you are viewing the correct published address. Embedded content can also require separate sharing permissions.
Common questions
Does granting editing access publish the website?
No. Collaborator access and publishing are different controls. Review who can edit and who can view the published site separately.
Why does the direct link still ask me to sign in?
The shortcut reaches the application entry point. It cannot carry your Google session between browsers, grant permissions, or bypass verification. Follow the sign-in instructions on the destination service.
Do I need an account with The Login Link?
No. This directory does not require registration. The Open button takes you to the service; any account credentials are entered there.
