What is Firebase Studio?
Firebase Studio is a browser-based development environment associated with the earlier Project IDX experience. Google’s documentation now states that new user signup and new workspace creation are no longer supported. Existing users can continue accessing and deploying existing workspaces; the current migration guidance is therefore essential context.
Open the right destination
Use the account associated with the work you want to open. If Google selects another account automatically, switch using its profile menu. Complete the destination’s identity checks and any required account setup.

Your first useful task
- Sign in with the account that already owns the workspace.
- Open the existing project and review its source and deployment configuration.
- Follow the official migration guidance when planning where ongoing development will happen.
A practical way to use Firebase Studio
Keep the project in source control and document its dependencies, environment settings, and deployed services. This makes the application easier to move and avoids treating an editor workspace as the only copy of the project.
Troubleshooting
You cannot create a new workspace.
This is a documented product restriction rather than necessarily a login problem. Consult Google’s migration guidance and choose a supported development destination for new work.
Common questions
Is Firebase Studio the same as Firebase Console?
No. Studio is a development environment. Firebase Console manages Firebase projects and services and remains a separate destination.
Why does the direct link still ask me to sign in?
The shortcut reaches the application entry point. It cannot carry your Google session between browsers, grant permissions, or bypass verification. Follow the sign-in instructions on the destination service.
Do I need an account with The Login Link?
No. This directory does not require registration. The Open button takes you to the service; any account credentials are entered there.
